Want something different to do? Want adventure and excitement? The Air Training Corps (ATC), also known as the Air Cadets provides challenging and exciting activities which develop qualities of responsibility, leadership and good citizenship.
Activities include adventure training (camping, orienteering), shooting, flying in a variety of aircraft, first aid and annual camps at operational RAF stations. To find out more call wing HQ in Gosforth on 0191 213 1919 or email whq_durham@lineone.net

Cost: Subs around £1 a week
Opening Times: Parade nights are Mondays and Fridays from 7pm - 9pm. Come and see us to find out more!
Restrictions: The Air Training Corps is open to young people of both sexes aged 13-22 (you can join up to the age of 17).
Travel: 324 Sqn are beside old TA centre in Highfield Road (200 yards from Fountain Inn pub).
Other Information: The aims of the ATC are: 1. To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force. 2. To provide training which will be useful both in the armed services and civilian life. 3. To foster the spirit of adventure. 4. To develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
